Mrs "E"
Hi! I"m Mrs "E". I've loved books since I can remember. I have two older sister's and an older brother who all spent time reading to me and teaching me to read. By the time I got to Kindergarden I was reading and, like Mrs L, I was bored with that Dick and Jane stuff. Fortunately I had all older siblings that had books at home so I read them, some with their help at first. Whether it was Tarzan or Nancy Drew, I didn't care. Some of my favorites were the Little House on the Prairie series and The Black Stallion. I also really liked The Fields of Home by Ralph Moody because it took place right down the street from my sister's home right here in Lisbon. Many of the books I read back then were borrowed right from MTA's library!
Twenty years in the military, on call 24 hours a day, and traveling all over the USA, Canada and Europe, didn't leave me much reading time. My husband tells me I should write a book about that time, but I'm not sure, maybe someday. My retirement from the military brought me in a full circle and right back here to MTA. It's so neat to be here and being a book club advisor just puts icing on the cake! I learn so much from you all every day!
Oh!...and the picture...that's my only child...Brandy!''

I think you should write a book about your military experience! That would be amazing!

Re: Mrs "E"
My husband asks me AT LEAST once a week if I started it yet. Maybe I should use the days I don't work this year to do just that...Do you really think anyone would be interested?

RE: Mr E
Your book could be a best-seller...javascript:emoticonp('')
Do you have photos from all the places you've traveled? That would be great. You could publish a coffee-table photo book to complement the best-seller.
Have you started writing yet?
